Why I Wrote the Book

Why Rachel’s Story Matters

I didn’t see any children's books or toys for medical imaging—and that needed to change. Rachel is curious, smart, and wears her red glasses like a superhero cape. She represents the future of healthcare—diverse, compassionate, and full of possibilities.

Mission

I remember almost having to dropout of my second year of radiologic technology school because I couldn't afford books. At the last minute, a grant was made available to me. Now it is time to pay it forward to another student in a radiologic technology program!

In March of 2025, Chaun started A Couple of Rad Techs Radiologic Technology Scholarship, which an enrolled student will receive a $500 scholarship all because 5% of each sale from this book will go into the scholarship fund.

Thank you for making sure a student doesn't have to dropout of school to become a radiologic technologist.
